Optigon (535), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Mar 19, 2007 Very light pour, clear, yellow, soapy head. Smell of apples, almost cider-like. Very thin mouth feel. Flavor is somewhat fruity. A little apple-like. Some mild metallic quality. Nothing exciting. garrison (427), Cin. city, Ohio, USA Jan 14, 2007 From a "tall boy" can... this brew had a sickeningly sweet, wet hay aroma and tasted like fermented urine. Avoid this brew! Silphium (1981), Lansing, Michigan, USA Dec 31, 2006 I can’t believe this graffiti-and-skyline can contains a beer so rare, so exclusive, that is has been rated only once. The body is so light I hesitate to describe its color, but know that it is as pale as a moderately-hydrated hiker’s urine. A sweet, corny aroma greets my nose hairs. Sweet, strange body, very thin and watery, nothing potent like I expected. Corn and water. Plastic. A must try for the cornchaser. Cornfield (4254), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Oct 24, 2006 The ABV isn’t indicated on the 24-ounce can, but this seems rather mild for a malt liquor. Looks like one, urine yellow with a quickly departed head. Smells like corn, generic malts, alcohol, and plastic. I miss the usual metallic elements, but they show up in the flavor. Along with the plastic, alcohol, creamed corn, and a dirty bitterness. Special!
