3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Ooh this beer is good. Do I even need to tell you about the hazy golden color or describe the lacy white head that maintains enough presence to satisfy even the most discerning beer lover’s eye? How about the bitter, fruity aroma and taste? I don’t think I do, so if you see this on the tap wall, like at the Roundhouse in Hong Kong for example, just order it. No, I am not a Japanese spy.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Very hazy amber gold. Aroma is sweetly malty, and the flavours are as well, some brewers cereal, light toast, vanilla cookie. Not even a whiff of hops here. Just ok.

Enfin une lager qui ne ressemble pas aux autres (je ne doute pas d’en decouvrir d’autres).
Robe paille legerement voilée, tres faible carbo, petit collet fuyant, legere dentelle.
Aromes herbal, caramel, agrumes et noisette.
Tres bel equilibre, final legerement sec et bien amere. corps moyen.
Les flaveurs de caramel et de malt torrefies ressortent bien en bouche.
Bonne pioche !

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
0,35 l can. Pours nice light amber with a small head. I love the aroma! I guess this is one of the hoppiest aromas I’ve encountered with a lager so far. But well, this one is supposed to be “india pale lager”. Aroma is fresh, some fruits, melon and freshly cut grass. Taste has two layers, from one side it is mellow and soft, just like eating some marshmellows (altbeit not so sweet) – but it has a bitter kick inside that takes over when the aftertaste comes.Aftertaste is long, dry and bitter. Body is satisfying, not too full but not too watery either. I guess Coedo has been able here to do something pretty special – using a very common lager as a base to create something special. Thumbs up!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Oto Market in Sacramento, CA. Pours light golden amber with a slight white head. Aroma is light fruit - melon? grape? Med body or nearly. Flavor is grapey with a touch of citrus, plus breadiness. Certainly much tastier than the average sweet Vienna.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours cloudy amber with a clinging off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a sweet light malt flavor with a hint if grape and a dry finish.
