330ml bottle. Pale golden color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Very malty, bit dirty, touch of yeast and mainstream hops in aroma. Grainy, heavy malts, burnt brown sugar, grassy hops in taste. Caramelly malts and touch of metallic grassy hops in aftertaste. Medium body, but feels heavy. Feels bit dead.

suurjuust (1882) - ESTONIA - AUG 21, 2015
Clear golden amber, brief white head. Nose is weak ans malty, slight sweetness. Flavor is sturdier than the nose would have you belive, but it’s pretty lagery sweet malt, herbal hops, toasty notes. Lingering herbal hops. Not a bad quaffer.

333ml bottle (Hopner, Tallinn)
Pale amber, brief head. Fairly simple lagery aroma, not that expressive at all. Watery palate, but fuller than typical macro fare, but a bit dead on the tongue. Pleasant carbonation brings some life to it when swallowing. Simple light grains, some herbal and bitter hops. Finish gently drying with the bittering hops, herbal, but not losing touch with its grains.

Maris (1172) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JUL 21, 2015
From a 333ml bottle on 21/7/2015 (labelled India Pale Lager). Pours a slightly cloudy light golden with a small head. The aroma is light and fruity, with a hint of spice. Take a sip and there’s some bready and biscuity malt, sweet citrus fruit, and a moderate spicy bitterness. Has a fullish body and average carbonation. Pretty good, if not quite hitting the bullseye. But I wouldn’t complain if I had to down another.

Bottle / Beer & Buns / Liverpool St. No head, very soft carbonation. Pours a slightly more golden colour than lager. Orange citrus aroma. Caramel and malty in flavour. Pretty unusual drop

Golden-Amber appearance, citrus at first, bitterness from hops later. Nice easy to drink ale

cattrall (53) - Midlevels, HONG KONG - MAY 27, 2015
Pours a light clear straw colour with thin dissipating head which belies its significant palate. A very pleasant light bitterness refreshing pale ale (I'd say much more than a Pilsner which is how it's listed here). Citrus fruity tones. Bitterness grows over time on the palate. Pleasant and normally very affordable for a fairly easy-to-find Japanese beer.

Bottle from Katsuragawa Aeon mall. Really pale gold with decent lacing. Spicy citrus hop aroma. Flavour is way more hoppy than I expected. Nice spiciness with a hint of sweetness.
