3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 shoulderbroken (587) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 23, 2012
Can from the local supermarket, Maruman. Amber colour with small beige gold head. Aroma is toffee malty, grainy, not much else, but perfectly pleasant. Taste is caramel and toffee, slight bitterness at the end. Nice Vienna, and after really being disappointed by the last Coedo I had, this was a pleasant surprise. Sweetness but not sickly. Decent Vienna as far as I am concerned.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dredd (591) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - APR 19, 2012
Pour is a copper brown with thin white head. Aroma has a touch of metal and sweet caramel. Flavour is good with sweetness with plenty of caramel and some graininess that transitions to a smooth bittering finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EdKing (937) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2011

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (2169) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 9, 2011
330ml bottle pours a deep bronze color with virtually no head or lace. Aroma is a smokey caramel malt and mild floral hops. Taste is smokey with a malty sweetness and mild hoppy bitterness. Very little carbonation and light to medium body. This is a pretty solid lager which is considerably better than a traditional macro lager.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mile (1449) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 14, 2011
Bottle. Golden, very small and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty-grainy sweetish aroma, some caramel and faint grassy hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some roasted malt and caramel. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt and caramel, faint hoppyness. Quite uninteresting beer - just as vienna style.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Tim Webb (129) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2010
33cl bottle ordered from the brewery mailed within Japan. I find Wiener lager a difficult style to enjoy. It is as if it is a taste that has gone out of fashion. Too ’matured’ for the newer lager traditions. OK, I don’t like them. But if I did this would be a good one. The lingering essence not quite burnt sugar is prominent. Claims to be 100% malt.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 hopdog (7043) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2010
Just noticed I never entered this one. I had this one in Las Vegas on my B-Day (hey it was a harder to find beer and it was Las Vegas!). Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of grains, a little toasty, lighter floralness, and lighter honey. Tastes of grains, caramel, and honey sweetness. Overly priced in Sin City, but hey, I’m glad I had it...
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Jukkabro (3471) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 17, 2010
Dark yellow colored with little yellow head. Caramelly and sweet aroma with estery note. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more chocolaty with caramel still here, aftertaste is round with some dry lemon.
