With the stark contrast of its clear golden hues and fluffy pure white head, this premium pilsener boasts a crisp refreshing taste. The name "Ruri" is Japanese for the gemstone Lapis, representing the pure clarity this beer abounds in.

Bottle received chilled from the brewery. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Quite tasty, strong floral notes which make this quite a unique pils.

35cl can. Yellow color slightly hazed. Big, creamy, solid, stable candid white head. Inviting bready smell. Bready malts, some dough, sustained herbal notes ending up in bittering hops. Full bodied for the style, oily and a bit dusty texture. Balanced taste, finish is bitter. Kinda zwick’l.

Can. Pours a clear bright gold. Caramel and grain malt aroma, light floral hopping. Very sweet flavour of malt, honey, caramel, some citrus coming through. Decent carbonation, light-medium body, but too much lingering sweetness where crisp and clean would work better. I like the flavour though, good to have every now and then.

Tap at Craft Sukhumvit Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is biscuit yeast, grain, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation

Bottle at restaurant. Light golden with a moderate but shy head. Bubbly and crisp, malty to taste with undertones of sherry vinegar. Quite well balanced but not particularly interesting and a bit too fizzy.

Bottle 33.3cl. Poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear medium golden, small frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing; aroma sweet malty, fruity, flowers, perfumy, grass; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, grassy, herbal notes, light peppery, bittersweet aftertaste, herbal notes, touch of salt; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; strange atypical pilsner, but fresh and drinkable.

Sampled from a bottle. This beer has a light golden colour with a white head. The taste is mildly yeasty and there are floral notes from the use of German hops. Quite delic

Must confess to finding this fairly run of the mill as a pilsner style. TBH I like to keep a track on the beers I drink but dont neccessarily want to think about it too in depth. Middle of the road.

(Bottle) Clear golden, tiny white head. Pleasant aroma - grassy with citrus and floral notes. Light bodied, good carbonation. Nice taste, plenty of hops providing crisp bitterness from the start. Fresh light fruity notes, plus some candy hints. Nice Pilsner.
