3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A very hoppy session IPA with a strong citrus character dominated by bitter grapefruit hoppiness. It is quite well done and seems pretty popular, but I personally preferred their previous few seasonals...

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Craft Beer Market Mitsukoshimae. A crystal clear pour with a thin filmy white head. A hoppy west coast type aroma, nice. Medium bodied with a bitter palate cleansing mouthfeel. Solidly bitter with citrus, pine & some earthy pepper. Pretty damn solid, I concur this should be canned & join the regular line up... Now all it needs is a Japanese name...

Light golden color. Big caramel wallop with citrus notes in the nose. Very big bread fruit malty notes in the mouth with some citrus notes. Decent bitter finish. Very well balanced, good body, good bitterness. Well made session IPA. Slight buttery finish but still really nice.

Draught at Kamikaze. Soild deep bitter aroma, light citrus, with a soupçon of cat piss. Light pale straw color, almost no head. Serious pine/citrus mix in inittial, minimal maltiness until finish, when it all balances. Thin and quite spritzy. Very good, hop-heavy for most of the palate.

Tap at Wachi. Bright gold, tiny head. Fruit is prominent, in aromas and flavours. Grapefruit, green apple. Flavours strong but not overwhelming. Definitely sessionable. Would have again.

Tap at Bungalow. Is it Citra? I always seem to not like Citra beers as much as everybody else. Twiggy, light sweetness. Malty. Back to my usual impressions of Coedo beers.

Tap at Bungalow. Bright golden, clear, fine head. Tropical nose, oranges, grapefruit, passion fruit. Crisp malt. Light and bready, a bit too sweet, but nicely fruity with a good, crisp bitterness. Refreshing and well drinkable.
