COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The feature of this non-filtered wheat beer is it's bright, smooth, slightly cloudy appearance. Through the use of wheat malt and specially chosen yeasts, this refreshing brew with fruity overtones, boasts a full bodied, yet smooth texture, which glides easily down the throat. With its distinctly individual flavor and smooth elegance, it has been named "shiro," meaning white.

Bottle, cloudy yellow-orange color, with a little head. Aroma is dry grain and crisp hops, some sweetness (a little banana-like) and yeast also. Flavor is the same, both sweet and dry at the same time. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Cloudy pale golden with a smallish white head. Potent clove and banana aromas. Harmoniously blend banana and dry clove flavours. Well-carbonated. A superior weizen.

Super hazy blonde and straw coloured beer with an amber glow and a thin white head. Aroma of pale malt, alcohol, wheat, yeast, coriander seed and a hint of bubble gum - very nice smelling. Medium-bodied; Assertive wheat and yeast flavours showing a strong herbal and grassy flavour and mellowing out at the end with a definite banana and fruity flavour. Aftertaste shows some subdued corn and herbal characteristics and a nice smooth sweetness. Overall, a very nice german hef made in Japan, but sampled here in Hong Kong - definitely worth trying if you can find this! I sampled this stubby 333 mL bottle purchased from City!Super in Harbour City, Kowloon, Hong Kong on22-June-2014 for HK$29,00 sampled in my hotel room here in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Best by date on bottle of 21-November-2014.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that completely disappeared after 5 seconds. Low carbonation. Aroma of banana and sweet malts. Texture is a little thick but velvety. Delicious beer, but I like it to have at least a little bit of head. Oishii, ne?

395 yen bottle from Asahiya. Drunk from a tulip glass at he Belgian Beer Weekend Boutique. A cloudy gold pour with a fluffy white head. The aroma is rich malts with a fruity spiciness to it. The taste is spicy & fruity with a kind of graham biscuit body to it.  Quite nice.
