COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Coeur d’Alene Brewing Company’s Centennial Pale Ale was first brewed in commemoration of Idaho’s 100th birthday. In its first full year of production, it won a Gold Medal as the Best Pale Ale at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Centennial is a clean and thirst-quenching pale ale brewed with Northwest malts and hops. The first hopping provides just the right amount of bittering and balance, while the final hopping completes the aroma and preserves the essential hop oils vital to this style of beer. Centennial’s straw color and crisp finish made this a Gold Medal winner.

Bottle: Pours a bubbly apple juice color with a short-lived white head. Sweet nose is malty, grassey, and bits of honey. Sweet with honey and malt, at least until the finish. Lingering floral bitters and turns a little stale. Something reminds me of cardboard too... Yeah, this is not good.

Bottle from my cousin Sam. Thanks cuz. Pours a slightly cloudy gold color. Aroma is pretty typical, muted hops, malts and very little else. Flavor is also pretty average and boring. Refreshing? Yes. Memorable? No. Malty, light hops, a bit metallic. Not great.

Bottled. A hazy orangey beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with grassy notes of hops and a light tinge of metal. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Aroma – Nice light pale malt, little hops in the nose.
Appearance – Golden in color, thin head and clear.
Flavor – Buttery light and bitter with a good malt backing.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, Buttery texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A tad dactyl with a god malt flavor. Liked this beer on a hot day.

murky bronze colored, beige head. hops are quite earthy with a hint of caramel to the malts. flavor picks up much more of the citrus hops. lightly bitter. not terribly interesting.

Bottle purchased at Marcus Foods in Whitefish Montana. Hazy deep golden pour. Very sharp resinous hop aroma with a sweet undertone. Moderately malty palate is attacked by resinous hoppy bitterness, bordering on harsh, ammonia-like. this walked the line as far as enjoyability for me.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Slightly hazy, deep golden with a small, white head. Lightly sweetish aroma of citrus and caramel. Medium body with citrusy accents and a somewhat dry bitterness. In general a fairly harmless and quaffable APA. 171207

12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a fully gone head (was white for short moment). Light caramel malty with a note of floral/fruity hops, although somewhat vague. Flavour is mild floral, dry and into a bitter note. Not much sweetness if any. Dry bitter finish.

Pale straw colour with a little head. Aroma is cascade hops and a touch of grass. Thin and only lightly bitter. Where are the malts?
