500 ml body. A clear amber body with a big, foamy tan head. Aroma has malt, caramel, nuts, toast and some Christmas spices. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, bread, dry fruit, moderate bitterness and spices in the background. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Quite OK, but rather anonymous and easy to forget.

0.5 L bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. A layer of big-bubbled beige foam, over a misty red-shaded amber body. Low aroma level for a belgian-styled ale. Bready nutty malts with malt drops and hint of jammed berries. Taste is sugar sweet malty, with prominent anise-seeds, hint of tinned fruits, and an underlying spiced bitterness. Light in body for the style. Spiced sugary-malty endnotes. Drinks ok, but not quite there.

Shared bottle from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. Small beige head on a deep golden body. Fruity, toasted, aniseed nose. Caramel, bitter, aniseed mouth. Medium to full body. Dry tongue.

50 cl bottle. Slightly underwhelming aroma. Weak head. Taste like I envision a Christmas beer should, but doesn’t last forever. A nice allrounder for the season, but it’s not my choice for Christmas dinner or dessert.

Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma medium spicy (orange, coriander), hoppy and malty (roasted). Flavor medium sweet and spicy, light bitter. Medium body.

Typical british ale style head and color. Smell with Notes off caramel and malt, but not much nose. Tastes sweet caramel and malt aswell. Nice ale, but not much here that says x-mass. I could Easley drink a few bottles of this, but mostly because It’s goes down nicly.

Glowing amber beer. Nice spicy flavour, Christmas feel. I would have pefered a bit more body to this. Long coriander tail.

Botella. Deep dark brown colour, beige head. Spiced aroma (anise) with liqourice and dark malts. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is spiced, sweet, dark malty, and with liqourice.
