COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Pours a very beautiful hazy red-ish nougat brown body with a big creamy light khaki head. Nose is aniseed, nougat, toffee and hints of caramel. Pretty Xmas-y, so to speak. Taste is candy sugars, caramel, hints of aniseed and licorice. Some herbal tones. Smooth Belgian-style Christmas ale, pretty nice all in all. Even though the categorization of Christmas ales is a bit tricky, leaving f.ex. this beer to compete with the likes of Struise’s Pannepot, I still feel it’s a bit underrated.
