4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 holdleder (41) - Kongerslev, DENMARK - APR 26, 2013
50 cl. flaske. 5,3 %.
Efter hvad jeg kan læse mig frem til kaldes den nu Harlem Break, og ikke Harlem Brown, da dette anses for at være en uheldig titel. Det ændrer nu ikke at det er en rigtig god mørk øl.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Labeled "Harlem Break". Clear, brown colour with a small, light tan head. Sweet aroma with light roasted malts, chocolate and caramel malts. Sweet fruits. Medium sweet taste, medium body, creamy texture. Short, sweet finish. A true to style brown ale with a good amount of malts.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ClubGonzo (2689) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 3, 2013
Bottle, shared with Foffern. Pours a hazy, near-murky amber brown body with a medium foamy light beige head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, butterscotch, biscuits and hints of nougat. OK, but I wish for a bit more. Taste is caramel, butterscotch and toffee tones, hints of nuts and syrup. Mild, but very accessible and easily drinkable. Highly pleasant, actually. Medium to thin body, medium carbonation. An OK brown ale, all in all.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Foffern (728) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 24, 2013
Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a deep reddish nut-brown colour with light beige medium head. Malty aroma of some chocolate, wood, dried fruit, maple syrup and some nuts. More wood in the flavour along with nougat and some sugar. Feels quite complex and balanced with a nice sweetness in the end. The mouthfeel is rich and soft, and has a light bitterness. Pretty true to style and pleasant.
