Bottle @ home. Aroma: Orange, herbs. Apperance: Nice light amber, little amber off white firm head. Taste: Good round but mouthfilling bitterness, some pepperness. Overall: Good and bitter IPA but ’american’ is not my first thought.

Pours a deep golden with a fluffy offwhite head. Aroma is somewhat sweet at first, butterscotch ? Hmm.. Has some resinous pine in the back and a light fruityness as well. Taste is a light bready note before a floral bitterness takes over. Fairly dry with a lasting bitterness.

Relativt meget cara duft men også udefinerbar humle aroma. Kobbergylden farve. Afrundet malt og caramalt med en balanceret bitterhed. Relativt sød men det er meget godt. Det giver mere lagret eller ristet sød smag. Tør finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaske fra ekebergrestautanten. Oransje ravaktig farge. Medium karbonert. Smaker furunål, sitrus, karamell, frukt. Ganske god

Smagt som Strøgets Øl (Skjold Burne Kgs. Nytorv). Ravgylden med holdbart cremefarvet skum. Duft præget af amerikansk humle med karamelsødme. Smagen er maltsød men flot balanceret af humlebitterheden. Lang grapebitter eftersmag. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket på Bergstua 23 Mar 13. Aprikosfarget. Litt uklar. Litt skum som blir borte. Aromaen er fersken & aprikos. Smaken det samme. Svakt syrlig ettersmak. God.

Orange red with steady off white film. Herbal nose + some toast. Apricot on rusk then mellow resin + orange hops. Lemon rind finish + dry linger. Slight chew, oily, light side of medium. Hop bill is Galena, Simcoe, Cascade, Summit and Willamette, so maybe this recipe has changed. For that hop bill, nothing stands out. Integrated and smooth yet underwhelming. Quaffable - drinks like an APA - but would I bother?

Sample at a tasting. Golden with a white head. Malty with a bitter/sour unpleasant hop presence. Perhaps it got old...

It’s hazy golden with a creamy head. The aroma is lovely and hoppy with notes of citrus, fruits, a touch of straw and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness, a pleasant light bitterness and notes of citrus, peach and other fruits, malt and the finish is fairly dry and slightly bitter.

Bottle. A big off-white head forms over a more or less clear, golden colored body. Some lacings. The aroma has a dusty, milky touch, with citrusy hops and biscuity malts. Not very pleasant. The flavor is more interesting, although pretty boring for an IPA. Some pale malts as a foundation for citrusy hops. Not very much bitternes at any stage. Dry on the palate, a bit too carbonated and medium to full-bodied. Drinkable, but not my kind of IPA. 130308
