COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: A refreshing beer, which is a refined interplay between shelf flower’s distinctive flavor and aroma hops. The beer is composed of four types of malt including caramel malt, which adds a golden color and gives fullness and sweetness to the beer. For humlekogningen will be used two different types of hops. Aroma hops are hops variety Challenger that was developed back in 1972 at Wye College in England.
Ingredients: Water, barley and wheat malt, hops, yeast and elderflower.

Bottle, bought @ Vinens Verden, Odense.
A nice, clear redish amber with a medium, staying, creamy, slight yellowish head. Fresh and summerly aroma, lots of elderflowers, some fruity hops and fairly crisp malts. Medium carbonation, fair dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is quite nice, the elderflowers there, but subdued. Some caramel and slight chocolate maltiness and a firm, light herbal and piney bitterness. Very nice - especially for a first beer.

This beer has a cool name, and proof that there is truth in advertising it pours a cloudy, light amber color. It smells of yeast and malt and hops, and it has a flavor of soapy hops with a slight hint of apples, possibly acetaldehyde, which I don’t entirely dislike.

(on bottle) I had this beer on a sumnt square, eating one of my favorite snacks, nachos, watching my beautifull wife looking in her first print of her Ph.D.. It was hard not to like this beer under those turms. Very dark orange, hazy and with a large amount of sediment yeast. Sma aroma of caramel, elder and kind-of grassy hops. turns more maltier and dryhopped, lots of mango and pine in taste and finishes rather flat.

It’s unclear, red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of elderflower and other flowers, yeast and malt. The flavour is light to moderately sweet with notes of elderflower, yeast, citrus, malt and the finish has notes of citrus. It’s a light and refreshing beer.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse. Pale ale with Elderflower. Hazy amber beer. Creamy tan head. Soft palate. Mild malt - the Elderflower sweetness is nicely judged. Finishes fresh and dry. Different!

Bottled. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is wheat, spices, herbs and some mild yeastyness. Flavour is quite much the same in a rather dry way. Tastes very fruity and dry in the finish.

Bottle, 5.0%. Fruity aroma, a bit of elderflower. Muddy dark brown colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off with more elderflower, has some dark malt, baking yeast, a little spice from some hops, I guess.
