English: A refreshing beer, which is a refined interplay between the elderflowers distinctive flavor and aroma hops. The beer is composed of four types of malt including caramel malt, which adds a golden color and gives fullness and sweetness to the beer. For humlekogningen will be used two different types of hops. Aroma hops are hops variety Challenger that was developed back in 1972 at Wye College in England.
Ingredients: Water, barley and wheat malt, hops, yeast and elderflower.

0.5l bottle. I worked with a guy caller Urban once, but no time to dwell about that: This is a light blurry nutty-bronze one with a medium sized light bubbly off-white top. On the nose I get some traces of broccoli, earth, urine, pale malts, raw metal and some floral tones. Non extreme. The taste has some sweetness in it. Corn-like sweetness actually. It’s thin oily to watery on the mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. More earthy, some buttery tones in the taste also, a soft bitterness appears in the finish and aftertaste next side with something floral and almost herbal. All in all this was in my opinion not much more than a dull lager added some herbal flowers. Not to memorable, and I don’t feel the need to stock up with this one. 16.11.2012

Bottle at Øltorget Mathallen, march 5th 2013. Clear amber body, tiny offwhite head. Fruity citrus aroma with flowers and malt. Taste of caramel, flowers and cloves. Low bitterness, sticky-sweet body, finish of flowers and caramel. It’s good but no killer, even if it suits the flowery theme of the beer a bit I think it’s too sweet.

Look; good off white hue, near clear apricot amber body. Aroma; tropical fruits, hops, caramel malts behind, very inviting. Taste; smooth mild roasted malts, stiff and gentle hops, brown bread, a drop of butter - leading to a smooth blended finish. Normal body, soft carbonation. Good brew. Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Slightly hazy, amber-golden colour with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma with elderflower, lightly toasted and caramel malts, sweet fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture. Short, slightly sweet and spiced finish. One of Coisbos better offerings.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Manglerud enjoyed at home
Amber red, big offwhite head. Smells of elderflower, almost like perfume, burned malts, bread and some citrus hops. Light to moderate sweet, bread or biscuit, medium bitter, some earthy and citrus hops. Quite odd experience this. The elderflower is fuzzing it all up; not a good idea in my book. Without it it could easily gain a higher score
