Handpull at Pembury Tavern. Clear bright ruby with a small offwhite head. Classic ESB aroma - pungent floral bitterness, solid sweet grape/berry sweet malt. Taate follows, a bit tart/sour, quite tastt. Average body and carbonation, acidic and bitter through the finish. Decent

Cask conditioned at The Wheatsheaf, Borough, London. Copper with white head. Light, malty, bitter beer, session type ale, easy on the palate and quite refreshing. Good enough.

Cask at the The Sun Inn Summer Beer Festival, Kelvedon. Clear deep amber beer, little pale tan suddy head. Palate is fresh but dry. Fresh malt with a little dark character and a whisper of smoke. Light sweet fruits underneath. Finishes with more robust malt. Not bad at all.
