32oz Can... Total novelty here! Porued golden with a big, off-white head. Not a whole lot here. I guess quite drinkable since it wasn’t an in your face IPA. Malty, sweet tarts, and some astringent hop flavors. Meh.

Not much to it. Bitter and a little astringent, creamy mouthfeel. For the price I would buy it again, but its definitely not making any ’top 10’ lists.

From the can, so can’t really tell the color. Smell is a lot of citrus hops. Really fruity. Taste is mellow. It’s hoppy, but without the super bitter kick. Very drinkable. Decent beer, and a cool can.

I remember Cold Spring as the maker of the cheapest watery pale lager I could find in Minnesota 30 years ago, and was glad to see that they are still in business, now making several better styles, and still affordable. 32 oz can pours a clear golden color with huge. frothy off-whie head and good lacing. Not much to smell: caramel and hops. Aroma is pretty much the same, with some piney and floral hops added. Taste is slightly bitter with some malts coming out in the finish. A good, cheap IPA which I’m eager to try again.

Big can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber gold with a 4 finger creamy/frothy off-white head. Aroma is mild caramel. Hop? Maybe. Near med body. Flavor is mild roast caramel with some hints of diacetyl and a little floral hop. Beats bud light. Truthfully it’s drinkable. It’d do a hell of job with hot dogs. It finishes fairly dry, but hardly bitter. Obviously scrimped on the ingredients. Bottom line - oh so many better - but oh so much better than the macro crap.

A 32 oz can of IPA? Yes, I think I’ll have that. Poured a little sample into a tasting glass - actually looks like a healthy IPA. Big egg shell white head, great lacing, bright honey gold with tons of beading. The nose is pretty dull, though. Nothing off-putting or anything, seems pretty balanced, just not as aggressive as you might expect from an IPA. Tastes more like a pale ale than anything. Pretty tasty though. Nice malt base and just a soft hop zing, little bit piney. Super drinkable. For the price, this beer is a go-to.

32oz can 2/28/12 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-52° in shaker-Pours a clear light amber with a one finger white head. Aroma of hops and caramel corn popcorn. Taste of hops, caramel, and malt. This medium bodied brew is a little weak but for $3.99 a can it is worth the price.

Aluminum can from Pacific Liquor: Poured a light golden liquid with a frothy layer of foam that left lacing all down the glass. Aroma is bland and has almost no smell of hops and smells more like a lager than any ale I can remember. The drink is harsh with a strong dosage of malt liquor like flavors with only a minimum amount of hops have room to breathe. I guess I was expecting too much, but for the price of $4 bucks and volume of the beer, I’d rather buy this than any other quart of beer that’s cheap.

Stopped at up at my favorite liquor store last night and picked this up. Its a 32oz can of IPA, 6.5% for $4. How could I go wrong? I’d never heard of it before, apparently neither has the internet, so I added it to rate beer. I poured the can into a pint glass. Golden yellow color. lots of carbonation. White head. Aroma - smells kinda like Budweiser, only stronger, with a lot more hops, just not very good hops. Taste - not so great. Stale bitter hoppy taste. You know the old saying, "you get what you pay for" well it’s usually true. It’s the same price as a 32oz of Budweiser, and I think I would actually take one of these over some pale american piss lager. So for $4 a can its a nice value.
