Rated from notes taken 6 Sep 2011 -- I really like this IPA. Very tasty. (I need to try this again to rerate).

Pours a deep golden color with a short, foamy antique white head. Lousy nose. A waft or two of a hoppy nose, but all in all, pretty sad. Medium- to full-bodied with some carbonation burn. Nice balance of malt and hop character. The flavor is better than the nose would suggest.

Poured from a bottle. Clear golden color, medium white frothy head. Oily floral hops aroma. Nice smooth oily light floral hops with a mild finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/7/2015. Pours slightly hazy deep golden color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of light grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and bready malt sweetness; with decent strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid IPA. Good robustness and balance of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

Clear amber color with ivory head. Pine, floral, pale malt aromas. Medium body with average carbonation. Floral hop flavors with some lightly sweet tropical fruits___lightly bitter finish---not bad.

Draft... Pours brilliantly clear and amber with a small, pillowy, white head. Good retention. Eventually leaves cirrus cloud-like lacing. The aroma is far too subtle, but I’m eventually able to pull notes of citrus fruit, pine, biscuit and toffee. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and buzzing carbonation. The flavor is moderately bitter and bready with a rumor of brine. Lengthy, tangy finish with a mysterious pinch of salt.

Tap at tradewinds beef o Brady’s. Color is excellent and lingering thin head. Nose is hop and the taste persists throughout. Some Mild smooth toffee like taste in there but really just medium hop and some limited sweetness to add balance. Hint of citrus too. Decent but not great. ---Rated via my mouth

Bottle. Taste is pretty standard IPA, but that being said, not bad. Taste is light pine, citrus and hops. Decent.
