COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cold Boy Pale Ale has been designed to offer pale ale with real taste and aromatic impact. The initial bitterness is followed by a surprising sweetness culminating with a long dry finish.

A clear 0.5l bottle. This one pours a crystal clear golden looking thing in the glass and it has a small quickly sidesticking white lager head that’s leaving some OK looking lacing down the sides of the glass. It smells like the water flowers has been standing in. Added a bit of the sun damaged skunky thing quite often found in these types with a clear bottle and a lager styled beer, I’m not exaggerating if I’m saying that I’m not enjoying this aroma very much. Extremely thin and watery mouthfeel on this. A bit like drinking carbonated water and the flavor is not to far of just that either. The skunk creeps up in the taste just as he did in the aroma. It’s really gliding flavors here, cause they don’t last were long in the mouth. Not horrible to drink, but my oh my it’s not any good either. 14.09.2013

Fra Meny (Stokke) testes ColdBoy pale ale. Fruktig og noget bitter. Litt tynn. Middelmådig.

Ingen pale ale aroma over denne, lite aroma, enkel å drikke. Ikke masse humlesmak, og lite munnfølelse. Blir fort tam og lite skum.

Gylden brun med tynt hvitt skum. Søt maltlukt. Lettdrikkende uten mye motstand. Medium kullsyre og bitterhet.

Bottle, thanks to Cunningham. It pours a pale golden body topped by a medium sized head. The aroma is rather boring, citrusy and lightly malty, very straight forward and boring. The flavor has a little sweetness, it’s citrusy and faintly bitter, but far from interesting. Nice carbonation level, medium to thin body. Well, it’s an easy drinkable beer, flawless, but superbly boring. The Norwegian consumers can take more than this. 121116

Lys fin Gyllen farge. Lite skum, litt langs kant. duft av malt. Frisk lett drukket standard øl. Helt fint i sommervarmen i solveggen.

Bottle. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy, a bit malty and fruity aroma. Hoppy, fruity, malty flavour with hay notes.

500 ml bottle. Pale golden body with a big, fluffy white head that fades quickly. Light aroma of caramel. Flavor is light malty, some caramel and low bitterness. No obvious faults but deadly boring. This is not just a light and subdue ale, it’s a beer made with no depth or inspiration. It’s far below average. Come on Coldboy, you can do better than this.

Bottle, traded with Cunningham. Smells lagerish, with biscuity malt and some grassy hops, maybe slightly citrusy. Oh, and some sulphury notes seem to shimmer through. Light body, subtly sweet taste with a with a light to medium bitterness. Dry, hoppy, grassy finish. May be good as a summer refreshment but ultimately it’s just boring.
