2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle, thanks to Cunningham. It pours a pale golden body topped by a medium sized head. The aroma is rather boring, citrusy and lightly malty, very straight forward and boring. The flavor has a little sweetness, it’s citrusy and faintly bitter, but far from interesting. Nice carbonation level, medium to thin body. Well, it’s an easy drinkable beer, flawless, but superbly boring. The Norwegian consumers can take more than this. 121116

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from a trade with Cunningham. Clear golden beer with a small white head. Malty bready aroma, nutty and with a strange and rather bad hoppiness. Bready flavor, hay, metal, fruity notes, nutty, grass, a bit strange bitterness.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml bottle bought at Meny Oslo City. Clear golden body, no head. Smell of hard water with fruity hints. Subdued taste of sweet fruits with notes of earthy malts. Brief bitter endnotes. Anonymous, indeed, no side notes though (hotel room, Oslo 11.12.2012).

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Medium offwhite head. Clear coppery body with carbonation.
Caramelly nutty aroma with perfumy papery notes. Dry-sweet
caramelly toffee taste with perfumy fruity notes. Mid-bodied.
Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish caramelly nutty toffee aftertaste
with papery notes. Nice, fairly full-flavoured, but a bit
artificial-tasting. Tastes much more like a UK pale ale (that
is, a bitter) than a US pale ale. (0.5l bottle, Meny Oslo City.)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light, English style pale ale. Golde beer. English hops, grass, citrus.
Would make a nice summer tipple. Not outstanding, but an honest excample of the style.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Shared 500 ml clear bottle, at local tasting. ABV is 4.5%. Golden color, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of English hops, a hint of toffee. Reasonably refreshing dry flavour, tolerable hops in the finish. No masterpiece, but decent enough.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
0.5 L clear (!) bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Thanks Henrik! Pours a near-clear pale gold, topped by fading blond head. Sweet-scented bready malts to the nose. A whiff of honey, and faint leafy hops. Fairly full for a 4.5% beer. Slick mouthfeel. Taste is on the sweet side of sourish-sweet. Not very ale-ish. Quite neutral malt character. Some sour bread tones, discreet bitterness, and a barely noticable leafy/earthy hop flavor. Light bitter-sweet endnotes. Appears more like a Bitter than an APA. Anyway, a pretty good debut. Drinks ok.
