COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cold Boy Stout is a classic, traditional Stout Ale. Complex taste with a rich and full body. It may be dark in appearance but inspired by the pure nature in Norway, we have designed a surprisingly crisp ale with a full bouquet of crisp fruits, spices and floral aromas. A stout is for the true connoisseur.

Clear 500 ml bottle, abv 4.6%, b@Kjeller5, xmas-gift from a friend. Light brown or beige head, few lacings as small spots, chocolate body. Faint scents of earth and malts. Taste; dark malts, chocolate, flour, bacon, smoke, tar, licorice, mocca coffee, old prunes or plums. Dry and moderate carb to palate, watery hints, faint metallic. Aftertaste still roasted choco-malts, fruity stuff, licorice, a little dry, nice beer overall.

Bottle, thx to Cunningham. It pours a clear, very dark brown body and a small, beige head. Lightly roasted aroma with toffee and a faint burnt touch. The flavor is roasted and malty, with coffee and some dried fruits. Dry on the palate, medium to full bodied. Bitter, roasted finish. A quite nice beer, but it fails to raise interest as it lacks complexity. Yeah, I know it’s at only 4.6% ABV, but that doesn’t really matter. 121116
