Can. Very, very pale. Not much aroma, just faint whiffs of apple and vinous elements. Quite dry, with apple skins the predominant flavour. Very little texture or flavour structure to make this even slightly interesting, but nothing offensive. I used the rest to braise some pork knuckles.

330ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s Hurstville. Clear watery pale yellow colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity apples, citrus. Taste is apple, apple skins, citric, light woody oak & vanilla, bittersweet. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry slight tannic finish. Quite OK.

330mL can. Near-water white, good clarity, moderate bead. Restrained aroma; lemonade, doughy yeast, unripe Granny Smith skin, slightly green herbaceous character; almost Savignon Blanc-like. Light body, moderate carbonation, bone dry, Champagne-like weight. A touch of apple upfront gives way to more subtle vinous notes of cut grass and yeast spice. Not bad length considering how dry it is. Something different, was a bit put off at first, because it was so different, but gets more enjoyable as I go.

Can - pours almost clear with a lacing of bubbles. Acidic apples concentrate aroma. Sweet taste up front with a balanced apple finish.

Pours with almost no colour. Some apple notes and confectionery along with white wine. Very sweet smelling. Like jelly beans. More apple and confectionery notes as flavours. A lot clean than the aroma would suggest. Too sweet though. Could use more carbonation.

Bottle. Very pale greenish-yellow. Sweet apple aroma with a hint of pepper and berries. Sweet with light chewyness and a little acidity cleaning things up a bit at the end. Not a lot to it.
