3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Maris (544) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAY 17, 2011
From a 330ml bottle on 17/5/2011. Pours a pale golden with a bit of a head. Has a quite a malt and slightly fermented fruit aroma. The flavours are grassy malt, citrus fruit and a touch of spiciness. There is a big dose of bitterness which lingers. This is actually a good refreshing pilsener with a fair bit of character. Much better than most of the ratings on here suggest.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 hawthorne00 (1436) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 30, 2010
Tap. Hazy gold with a small but lasting white head. Aroma of citrus and earth, some dried peach and butter. Taste has some fruity sweetness and butter - the malts are kind of muddy. Quite sharp bitterness doesn’t quite cover it and it ends up just bitter.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 GT2 (3960) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 17, 2010
330mL. Pours a deep, fizzy yellow with a small, white, merigue head. Okay lace. Aroma is old fruits (prunes, raisins), African or Caribbean macro lager, artificial peach and old orange candies. Taste is oily, sweet, trashy. Pretty poor showing.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 davidm (1362) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 14, 2010
Tap. Nice pilsener. Aromas has grass, and flowers. Taste is sweet, with a bitter bite. Oily palate, with a thin-to-medium body. Dark yellow, with a thin-but-frothy head.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 eczematic (1297) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 24, 2009
nice attempt at a Czech style lager, generous with the saaz and solidly malty, but a bit unclean - diacetyl all over it and some banana too. if they can fix the fermentation could be a really good beer though.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bluebetty (880) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2009
Bottle. Pours a nice straw colour with small white head. Nice hop aromas with a fair amount of malt sweetness. Given this am expecting a german style pilsner. Flavour though is more about the hope with a nice crispness more in line with a czech pilsner. Nice balance mouthfeel. Good beer
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mkel07 (1808) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 12, 2009
330ml bottle. Amber and golden in colour with a medium foam head. Well carbonated with a sweet mellow aroma of piney hops. Also mellow flavour, well balanced with a nice light mouthfeel.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ChrisTurner (202) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 6, 2009
Bottle - Pale yellow with smallish head and a little retention. Its aroma is a lot like a European pilsener -- something I wasn’t expecting -- with marked maltiness. Flavor was crisp with a nice amount of tyically pilsener-style bitterness. Fairly watery really and lacking in oomph, but quite OK.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 kearnsy (68) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 28, 2008
Bottle, poured straw colour with little head that dissipated almost immeadiately. Malt aromas with underliying fruity hops. Crisp tasting with fruity tones coming in and a slight bitter after taste. Look forward to seeing what these guys have in store in the future!
