COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delicious golden ale brewed with premium quality English malting barley and delightfully hopped with the two classic aroma varieties, Fuggles and East Kent Goldings. (4.8% ABV) This traditional ale pours with a beautiful creamy head and exhibits a full-bodied maltiness that yields to a gentle bitter finish. Available on draught and in bottles at selected outlets.

330ml bottle. A little disappointing after trying the Pilsner. Dark amber in colour with almost no head, just a few foamy bubbles scattered around. Looked watery with a malt aroma and medium bitterness.

Small head in an amber coloured pour. Aroma fruit caramel toffee hint.Flavour butterscotch, caramel suttle fruit citric bitter, comes late to the palate, carbonation has become weak bit of a problem but still a good taste, finish plenty of malt flavour buttery smooty okay bitter.

Tried on tap at Coldstream brewery and was just called bitter on tap special bitter in the bottle. Golden body with decent lacing. Light malty taste and gentle bitterness, not exactly what I was expecting for a bitter a golden ale yes, nothing special but drinkable at least.

Quite pleasing this is. Aroma is slightly citrus and some toffee sweetness. appearence is an orange amber with thin white head and low carbonation. Flavour is sweetness upfront with some breadiness and apricot, finish is quite long with some pleasent bitterness that is unobtrusive but definately there. This is a very well crafted beer and highly enjoyable. It will be interesting to see how Coldstream Brewery evolves, but it is a promising start.
