Draught at Horse Brass. Poured dark brown with a head that seemed tussen kak en pompoen. Sweet malt aroma, cloying. Beer tasted much better than it smelled, with notes of malt, chocolate and salted nuts playing together. Lasting nutty finish.

Didn’t expect much from the aroma, especially since I’m not a big fan of browns, but there’s something about the finish on this beer that kept me coming back.
