COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rhyme & Reason, Extra Pale Ale American style pale ale. The flavour and aroma of Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops prevail without excessive bitterness for maximum drinkability. Malt sweetness of Pale Ale, Crystal Carafoam and Wheat Flakes in the background complements the hops for a crisp finish. 5.7 ABV 55 IBUs (Bottles and Draft)

Medium Orange with a white, lasting, lacy, tan head. Smells off sweet fruity tropical hops with fresh zesty citrus hops. Sweet caramel taste at fist with a citrus overtone and finishes with lots of fruity hops and a dry citrus ending. A cracking IPA that hits the spot. A fantastic beer. Medium to full crispy dry body.

The beer pours a slightly hazed golden orange with a quarter inch bubbly off-white head. The aroma is caramel, citrus, and notes of yeast and spices. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is mild grapefruit, notes of caramel, and grass. Quite good.

WOW. This is what I’m talking about. Extra hop flavours, Extra drinkability. On desert island beer short list for sure. That aroma. The balance. Where is the bitterness, in a good way.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2014 From bottle to glass at The Sapphire Room. Little to no head on a beautiful orange/straw body, very minimal lacing on the glass. Noble hop aroma, pine, and orange zest on the nose. Slightly astringent on the palate with a heavier mouthfeel.

Bottle, provided by TylerDurden. Hazy bright yellow body, lively lasting white head. Terrific hop aromatics, lots of pine and citrus, with austere crackery pale malts, very low sweetness and long bitterness. Fantastic stuff!

33 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Slightly hazy gold-amber. Thick frothy head. Great aroma, citrus, lime and some honey. Somewhat sweet, then a hoppy resin end.

Appearance: Pours a clouldy amber colour with about two fingers of head that linger for a couple of minutes. Aromas: Pine, hops, straw. Flavours: Pine tar, hops, grapefruit and lemon citrus flavours. Mouthfeel: Thick mouthfeel with a lingering finish. Overall: A truly excellent pale ale. This ranks up there with the best of them. The hop aromas and flavours are very pronounced but not overwhelming

Many, many 341ml bottles from LCBO (a buck off a six-pack this month!!). Clear gold, decent foamy off-white lasting head. Catty aroma with a bit of honey and heather sweetness, light alcohol - like a really really good pils suddenly decided to grow a pair and amp up the C-hops ... then do it again ... and again. Taste? Oh yeah, fully attenuated catty bitterness, background tropical fruit and resin, some alcohol --- perfect average body, solid carbonation, longish pugent linger, dry finish, leaves me always wanting another; yes please! I know it’s an APA, but my brain always says "IPA" - and who gives a crap, just keep making this, please!

On tap at beer bistro. A crystal clear copper gold. Herbal, pine and citrusy hop bouquet. Nice full mouthfeel, fairly softly smooth body. The taste is a clean bitterness, nicely balanced fruity & pine hop notes. A superior & clean pale ale.
