COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rhyme & Reason, Extra Pale Ale American style pale ale. The flavour and aroma of Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops prevail without excessive bitterness for maximum drinkability. Malt sweetness of Pale Ale, Crystal Carafoam and Wheat Flakes in the background complements the hops for a crisp finish. 5.7 ABV 55 IBUs (Bottles and Draft)

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 355ml bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with a fluffy, one finger, off-white head. Mild lacing. Aroma is pleasant. Notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine, resin, and bread with an earthyness. Taste is bitter with a a drawn out resiny/pine/grapefruit aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly resiny in the mouth but still moderately clean and crisp. Overall I’m really liking this. Solid aroma and taste and very drinkable. Lots of flavour for 5.7%. Would probably buy again.

A friend introduced me to this beer and I’m glad he did. You can smell this beer from across the room. Big grapefruit, orange, pine. Taste is all of the above but with a nice floral element that lingers, along with the pine and grapefruit, on the finish. This beer has an amazing hop profile, and is also way too drinkable. I wasn’t able to pick up much flavour from the malt, but that may be me. Overall a really nice brew, with cool varied artwork.

Pours a light hazy orange with generous cream coloured head. that leaves lots of lace. Nose is heavy pine and grapefruit. Great up front bitterness with some sweet toffee and a good dry bitter finish. Body and carbonation are average and feels a little thinner than you would expect but that actually seems to make it more enjoyable

Bottle. Burst of citrus, orange, and heavy hop flavours. Tingly, bitter finish. Wheaty, drinkable, refreshing qualities too... Solid!

Clear copper pour with a large frothy head. Gorgeous tropical fruit hop aroma. Tropical fruit hop flavour with a grapefruit citrus bitterness to cut through the sweetness. Lovely ale. Very pleasant.
