COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rhyme & Reason, Extra Pale Ale American style pale ale. The flavour and aroma of Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops prevail without excessive bitterness for maximum drinkability. Malt sweetness of Pale Ale, Crystal Carafoam and Wheat Flakes in the background complements the hops for a crisp finish. 5.7 ABV 55 IBUs (Bottles and Draft)

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 355ml bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with a fluffy, one finger, off-white head. Mild lacing. Aroma is pleasant. Notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine, resin, and bread with an earthyness. Taste is bitter with a a drawn out resiny/pine/grapefruit aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly resiny in the mouth but still moderately clean and crisp. Overall I’m really liking this. Solid aroma and taste and very drinkable. Lots of flavour for 5.7%. Would probably buy again.

Bottle - 355ml. Hazy amber body with a huge white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty and citrusy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries herbal, malty, grainy, and citrusy notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Translucent golden orange with a mid sized white head. Extremely pungent aroma consisting of orange, grapefruit, hops, malt, caramel, grass, pine, and various tropical fruits. Mid bodied, smooth and refreshing. Absolutely delectable flavours. Surprisingly just as complex and robust as the aroma, with a pleasantly fruity and bitter finish. Fantastic.

Bottle from Andrew - thanks! This is great. Hazy orange pour. Nice bright citrus, low malt, moderate bitterness with a clean finish. I could drink a bunch of these.

Zesty and fresh, this beer is a citrus bomb, with some tropical fruit, orange and pine as well. Just bitter enough. One of the best APAs out there.

ENG: 355ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the Teku glass. Nice, deep, opalescent orange color, medium but dissipating white head. Aromas of malts, caramel, citrus and maybe bit of tropical fruits and pine. Tastes grapefruity, piney, with nice bitterness balanced with some caramel and malts with some kind of salty finish. Delicate tarty bitter aftertaste. Medium body, medium carbonation. Overall interesting palate, refreshing beer.

PL: Butelka 355ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do Teku. Barwa ładna, głęboka, pomarańczowa, opalizująca. Piana jasna, średnia, lecz opadająca. Aromaty słodowe, karmelowe, cytrusy, może nieco owoców tropikalnych i sosny. W smaku grejpfutowe, sosnowe, w miłą goryczką zbalansowane nutami słodowymi i karmelowymi, pod koniec nieco słonawe. Delikatnie cierpko-goryczkowy posmak. Średnie nasycenie i średnie odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując interesująca paleta smaków, orzeźwiające piwo.
