Rhyme & Reason, Extra Pale Ale American style pale ale. The flavour and aroma of Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops prevail without excessive bitterness for maximum drinkability. Malt sweetness of Pale Ale, Crystal Carafoam and Wheat Flakes in the background complements the hops for a crisp finish. 5.7 ABV 55 IBUs (Bottles and Draft)

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 355ml bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with a fluffy, one finger, off-white head. Mild lacing. Aroma is pleasant. Notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine, resin, and bread with an earthyness. Taste is bitter with a a drawn out resiny/pine/grapefruit aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly resiny in the mouth but still moderately clean and crisp. Overall Iím really liking this. Solid aroma and taste and very drinkable. Lots of flavour for 5.7%. Would probably buy again.

Bottle from local Saq A: citrusy, light mango, light caramel app: clear copper with thick lasting white head and excellent lacing t/p: med body with moderate long bitter finish and moderate carbonation. O: I couldnít find any date on the bottle Iím suspicious that even tough itís brand new on saqís shelves, that the beer isnít super fresh. More fruitiness in aroma wise would benefit the beer. An updated rating of a draft version could be welcome.

0.341 bottle. Hazy, yellow color and a small, white head. Aroma of fruits, mango, flowers, hops - quite nice. Taste is bitter, hoppy, somewhat fruity, citric to an extent. Medium body, slick texture, and average carbonation. Finish is long and bitter, grapefruit-like. Overall not a bad beer, quite usual though.

Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a hazy golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is floral with some grapefruit and pine. Taste is a grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a hop forward pale ale which is tasty and balanced with just enough malts.

Bottle - 355ml. Hazy amber body with a huge white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty and citrusy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries herbal, malty, grainy, and citrusy notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Translucent golden orange with a mid sized white head. Extremely pungent aroma consisting of orange, grapefruit, hops, malt, caramel, grass, pine, and various tropical fruits. Mid bodied, smooth and refreshing. Absolutely delectable flavours. Surprisingly just as complex and robust as the aroma, with a pleasantly fruity and bitter finish. Fantastic.
