3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A lovely little IPA well balanced not overwhelming IBU’s and a decent amount of malt while still maintaining the ability of letting the hops through. Could be more exciting, but its perfectly described as an all day IPA

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Craft at the Market, Johannesburg, bb 02.08.14
Cloudy orange gold color with compact head. Very mild aroma. The flavor is a bit malty and caramelly, with moderate residual sugar, correct bitterness; smooth. Not much hop character though.
Too simple, British style IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Lacks freshness, maybe I kept it too long. Mushy, juicy, Euro style hops. Sweet and squidy. Certainly drinkable. Like a UK Golden or a hoppy lager. Fine.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle with mR_fr0g at his place on 12 October. Poured a cloudy golden colour with no head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon zest and hay. Sharp hop flavour with citrus and lemongrass. Palate is very light with hints of grain and resin, perhaps a touch of copper in there too. Not bad, but a little let down by the aftertaste.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras. Golden amber clear lasting thick cream head. Grapefruit hop aroma. Tasty hoppy grapefruit hop slightly metallic. A little thin inthe body but it’s a decent stab at a PNW ipa. I can understand why it’s called all day as it’s good enough to drink again but the body is light enough to be easily drinkable. Decent. I would like to have it cold rather than room temperature. I liked it

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at home. A lot of sediment in the bottle. Some people drink this, but I chose to pour carefully, leaving about 50ml behind.
Cloudy, amber on the eye. Spicy on the nose. Taste of spiced apples - quite fruity and floral. Lingering spice aftertaste.
Perfect accompaniment to crisps and nuts.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home shared with Beese. From the St Albans. Can the Germans brew a good IPA. Let’s find out. Aroma is peppery apicy hop, some veg broth. Flavour is berry, spicy hop. Hazed golden orange, with a thin white head. Some fruits and clean cereal malt bill. Tasty enough.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle from Drinker’s Paradise. A lovely dark, grainy IPA aroma greets you as you pop the bottle. Taste brings a bubbly blend of orange, grapes, mango, cereal and honey with a biscuity, slightly bitter finish. I actually could drink this all day.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Unfortunate bad bottle, seal had clearly not been good. Still had a taste and it was remarkably ok given the condition. Cereal, citrus, honey, fairly sweet and a mild to moderate bitterness. Would like to try this at its best. Score given is making some assumptions.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,5 l bottle BB 02. Aug 14
Dark golden, hazy, frothy, stable tan foam.
cereal, citrus, some caramel, subtle herbs. medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, slick feel, soft carbonation.
All-Day IPA is fine and flawless, but for me it is a little bit too flat.
