Draft from Hooleys Irish Bar in Guangzhou, China. Without doubt the best IPA I have ever tasted. Fruity aroma, easy on the palate, tastes like the god’s themselves made it.

Bottle at Hopfenreich, Berlin on 24th July 2014. Pours hazy copper with thin white ring-and-film giving scant lacing. Intense tangerine and grapefruit citrus aroma. Citric liquid with intense tangerine and zesty lemon. Tangy, rounded citrus finish. Zingy mouthfeel and light body.

jamestulloch (1388) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 18, 2014
Bottle from Villeneuve Wines. Hazy orange body with a medium white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of orange, honey and a faint cardboard note. Flavour of caramel, orange and apricot. Not quite punchy enough for an IPA. Medium body with an oily texture. Nice fizz. It’s perfectly drinkable, but it doesn’t really taste of much.

Beergaard (72) - Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 27, 2014
Very beautifull orange beer with a long lasting white head. The taste and especially the aroma does unfortunately not quite live up to the appearance, but i would say that it is a beer that grows on you. Some hops, but not as bitter as i normaly like my IPA’s. Notes of citrus, pine and quite a lot of caramelish sweetnes. A little undertaste of iron as well, but otherwise a very standard IPA, that, as the name suggests, can be drunk most of the day and for most things.

zacgillbanks (2302) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2014
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is a orange-amber coloured beer with tropical fruit and toffee flavours, a creamy mouthfeel and a zesty, warming fruity finish.

imdownthepub (10231) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2014
Bottled, 500ml from S.H Jones, Banbury. Clouded gold with white head. Sweetish, malty beer, quite lager like in character, some graininess with a light lemony note, hints of resin perhaps but no major hop impact. Thinnish but reasonable drinking. Certainly no IPA in my book, more sweet blonde.

WhoU (117) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - FEB 27, 2014
Bottle KwaZulu-Natal. Pours hazy orange apricot peach with medium light head and carbonation. Aroma is light hop floral herb grass citrus. Taste is slight bitter. Mouthfeel is smooth and dry. Overall not bad but aroma not as pronounced aa typical for style and taste could be sharper. But accurate as the name suggests all day IPA.

kidmartinek (3654) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 19, 2014
Draught and Frankie’s Shenzhen in the proper Brewers & Union imperial glassware. Pours hazy apricot color. The head is white, big bubble foamy, cool and lasting. The aroma is bitter apricot, not sweet. Mellow palate. Very cold and awesome. A traditional IPA with low carbonation. Great light, fruity beginning that’s quickly overshadowed by bitterness. Aftertaste is practically non-existent save for some limestone mineral. A real treat in Shenzhen! This beer is very good and its an all dayer!
