Bottle. Very alluring packaging. Pretty basic Banana clove flavoured hefe. Interesting that it seems to have been brewed in Germany by South Africans.

Bottle from Nina’s. Pours a cloudy blonde colour with a decent white head. Aroma of banana, vanilla, cloves and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Lingering banana and cloves again with a little lemon also. Not bad and I quite like the presentation too. I believe this is actually brewed in Germany though rather than Cape Town.

Pours hazy bright yellow with a white lasting head. Aroma of the usual weiss beer suspects and lots of bready yeast. Taste has Banana, clove, bubblegum and yeast. Lovely light creamy mouthfeel. Pretty standard as far as weiss beers go however the mouthfeel gives it a few extra marks personally.

Hazy amber-straw color. Small white head that leaves no lacing as it quickly dies down. A sour pissy aroma. A dry yeast flavor with the pissy aroma coming through slightly. A bit of a fruity backend. Sweet. Not very good. But no the worst.

Bottle. Hazy brown with a large foam. Aromas are caramel and wheat with stewed pear. Lemon with yeast and hints of banana. Flavours are caramel and clean wheat with spritzy yeast and low lemon. Traces of metal with a dry finish. Pretty decent.
