3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, - SEP 22, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2008 Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Very pale yellow, no head. Grainy and very light with vague floral hops. Extremely drinkable, bordering to watery with a hint of paper. low bitterness. A very subtle and restrained ale that gets away with it’s lightness thanks to soft malt and extreme drinkability.

Pours amber/blonde with gentle bubbles and a small head which disappears quite quickly. The nose has honey and cornflakes. The taste has lemon, honey and shredded wheat. The palate is light to medium bodied and this carries through into the texture - the finsih is clean. Overall, a decent session ale.

On tap at Mulligan’s, Dublin on 30th September 2011. Hazy gold with lasting thin white head and patchy lacing. Yeast and citrus aroma, then very hoppy in-mouth with fragrant fruity grapefruit. Touch of tangerine in the nose as liquid subsides. Aftertaste remains citric and tangy. Pleasant fine-carbonation texture.

Tried on draught at Hilden Beer Festival August 2011 and from bottle 10/9/11
certainly lives up to its name pouring a pale transparent blonde with fluffy white head. We decided it should be called "awkward blonde" at the festival due to the font fobbing! Floral hop aromas on the nose with underlying honey sweetness. Prickly carbonation, malt sweetness with a clean lightly bitter finish. Served cold on a summers day this would slip down nicely.
