Cask, Occasional & Bottled;
A bright amber ale, smooth initially with a slight hint of the Munich malt coming through from the grist. This is complemented well by the stronger refreshing taste from this well hopped beer. Named after the unusual mural of a headless dog at the front door to the brewery.

500ml bottle from The Linen Hall, Enniskillen (£2.99):
Quite a disappointing Hilden beer if I’m honest, I was expecting a bit more from the brewery with this one if I’m honest & it just seemed far too light at times with both the taste & the nose seeming somewhat subdued & weak. There was some pale malts & the off background fruit coming through alongside nice helping of citrus but it all seemed a touch bland & flat at times & it was wasn’t one that I particularly enjoyed sadly.

Bottle just called Hilden Headless Dog. Amber with a very thin head. Well-balanced with a very light fruitiness in its hop and asome light malts too.

Flaska inköpt i Dublin, tack snälla frun! Doftar bröd och smörkakor, typiskt brittiskt. Blommig och lite karamellig smak. Tja vad skall jag säga, tusen nyanser av brittisk pale ale. They look the same and taste the same....

Pale ale, dorada clara pero menos que su hermana Belfast Blonde. Espuma mucho mas densa y abundante, sin pasarse. Mas seca y amarga. Tambien con mas cuerpo y sabor. Bien lupulada. Apreciable.

Bottle shared by jaghana Outre-Rhin 01/2015, merci. Ar) weird gooseberry, pollen. Some minerals, chlorine? Goes into a watery mix of gooseberry lemonade, earthy fruit peel, like domestic physalis. Amber ale? More like a thin mild.
