500ml bottle from a shop in courtown. Pours clearish amber with white wispy head. Very Mild hop aroma, metallic, not much else. Some toffee, lots of fizz, so watery on finish it’s like a sparkling water but with a strange dry airy finish. Poor.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from the brewery shop thanks to mum and dad. Aroma is earthy hop, mineral and straw. Some light sulphur in the nose is slightly unpleasant. Light amber golden colour with a big fleeting white head. Flavour is composed of semi sweet base malt with a touch of caramel, with berry and light lemon hop. Flavour is a bit muddled by earthy straw and mineral tones. Palate is semi sweet and medium chalky carbonation. Boring golden ale.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Dunnes, Longford
Golden amber, clear, frothy white head that dissipates, slight lacing
Aroma - Initially mellow citrus hops, slightly floral, touch of orange in there, sweet light caramel malts, nose diminishes fairly quickly to a slight floral hint and sweet caramel with a dab of hay
Taste - Soft citrus hops, touch of orange zest, slight floral notes, fairly light caramel grain, malts, some hay again, not that hoppy, flavour very average - not keen on that hay note
Palate medium carb and body, fairly oily, quite a sweet palate. Finish - bitter light soft zest hops, fairly sweet light caramel malts, quite refreshing though
Overall - Not a well hopped beer at all, rather average supermarket beer, might be better on cask
