UPDATED: MAY 25, 2010 Malty sweet aroma. Orange-red color. Malt flavor seems darker than the color would indicate. Very carbonated mouth feel. Overall a very pleasant drinking beer. Way, way, better than ho-hum, but not an "Oh My GOD!" beer.

16.9oz bottle. Unfiltered amber-brown. Thin, steady off white head. Not really so far off from a good French Biere de Garde, a little chalky in it’s mouthfeel though. Mellow chestnut amber brown malt tones. Quite easy drinking for the ABV. Mild candied orange, pineapple fruit tones in the finish. Really grew on me..tasty delicate brown chocolate tones come out.

750ml bottle. Heavy in the glass which shows the beer has some body to it. Murky hazy deep brown in colour with an oil slick of foam. There is fruit present in the aroma with a hint of something sweet. Lively n the mouth with a bit of zing but not too much.

A random find at Inoue’s near Kyoto station(980 yen) which was odd as they specialize in Belgian beer. They seem to be imported to Japan by wine importers which is why I never seem them at beer stores I guess. A beautiful looking bottle makes it great to bring somewhere for dinner - classy. It gushed when opened and seemed fairly carbonated. A nice amber ale with a great color & a light white head of foam that quickly dissipated. It had a malty flavor with some bitter/smokiness. Quite smooth.

Bottled 750ml. -from Julius Meinl Am Graben, Vienna. Orange/amber coloured, small off-white head, fruity and light spicy nose. Moderate malty, acidic fruity and light grainy with mild spicy presence. Pleasant and easy-drinkable brew.

Croatian November ’11 RB tasting, Ogi’s bottle. Poured a soft amberish brown body. Lasting off white head. Fresh soapy, dusty, perfumey, flowery malty nose. Soft, slightly empty taste, malty, grainy, perfumey and yeasty. Pleasant stuff, harmless but please more taste.

The aroma is sweet and yeasty with caramel malt, alcohol, and grassy hops. The appearance is hazy amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall another winner from Collesi.

1000th rating! Thanks to Davide M for giving this one to me.
Appearance: Murky brown. Some off-white head. Aroma: Malt, fruit (apricot? peach?) and a certain sweetness. Taste: More of the same, quite sweet. Not bad Info: 750ml bottle, 20/12-2011
