Draft. Pretty mundane blonde ale, really sweet and bready considering the abv.

Rated on 3-26-2014 (Bottle) This beer pours a small head, pale yellow hazy body, a lot of suspended carbonation, and no lacing. The aroma is malty, yeasty, sweet, and fruity. The taste is very sweet, lightly acidic, malty, fruity, and yeast. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is very, very bland tasting and dry. It has little to no character and no WOW factor. This beer does not make it onto my list of beers that I will drink again.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of no head large sized clear colored bubbles that were fully diminished and left behind a uncarbonated hazy light yellow orange colored body and no lacing. The almost non-existent aroma was floral. The flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The weak flavor contained notes of hops and bread dough. Not one that I would buy again.

Light gold pour, persistent but thin head. Grain and sugar in the nose. Sweet. Middle is lightly kilned grain and candied citrus. Finish driers somewhat but still sweet at the end. ?

I would not have picked this up but it was only $1.79. That’s not much risk to get a couple Italian ticks. A so-so beer, this would not be worth the full price. Even at a reduced sale price I think I would rather have a local sixer. No wonder these sit on the shelves so long.

Aroma / Appearance - The golden base sparkled like inexpensive champagne. A sharp white head was as crisp and bubbly as soap bubbles. Wheat, lemons, and sweet aspects brought to mind something like a slightly off 7UP.

Flavor / Palate - Wheat, lemon, and melons are fair yet I find myself indifferent after a few sips. The delicate mouthfeel fades very quickly on the throat. This is not a terrible beer but at full price definitely overpriced for what you get.

A bottle I picked up from Rakuten. It poured a cloudy gold with a nice fluffy eggshell white head head which dissipated pretty fast. It had a good fruity aroma and the body was a zesty & sweet. It had a mild citrus/grapefruit finish. very light and refreshing and I was surprised it was 6% ABV it tasted much lighter! It also had tons of sediment in the bottom of the bottle. A nice light beer which went well with my pasta.

bottle. Pours chunky yellow with a fastly receding white head. Smells spicy, belgian style, fruity, Tastes bananas, cloves, not really much taste, not much flavor in the finish. Kind of a bland beer that’s flavor disappears right after it’s swallowed. Bleh.

Hazy gold beer, tiny white head. Crisp dry palate with a carbonated sting. Dry wheaty malt. A little peach on the front end and then mild banana ester. Finishes with a carbonated sting. Minerals. A bit too dry and dull.
