2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2013
500ml stylish bottle with a yellow neck bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Grey-yellow coloured body with a wheat haze. One-finger sized, chalky white head, well retained. Spiced fruity aroma, semi-tart. Taste of coriander, sweet fruits and late banana offset by moments of tartness towards the ending. Ok, a bit dull in the long run (at home, Tromsø 09.05.2013).
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 gunnar (3594) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2013

Bottle. Cloudy pale golden with a small head. Quite spicy aroma with dominant coriander. Refreshing enough, fruity with definite coriander notes. Drinkable, but not impressive.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Brigadier (2240) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - APR 21, 2013
500 ml bottle (?)
At full price I would not have touched these. Seeing they were on clearance for $1.79 though my tune changed. Grabbing one of each I figured I would get a few more Italian ticks on the cheap. This is a solid release but not something I would go out of my way to try. There is a reason they were probably on clearance - neither would others.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden yellow base shimmers with a brightness. The soft white head on top soon falls to nothing. Lemon crisp, light grain, and watery lemonade remind me of a warm summer afternoon. This is simple but it does get to the point.
Flavor / Palate - The dry lemony mouthfeel invites further sips. It fades quickly and lacks much depth. However, what is present is as expected and somewhat refreshing. Would I pay $7.99+ for a bottle? Definitely not. At $1.79 it is cheaper than some smaller format bottles however and worth the risk.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bendrixian (677) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 7, 2013
Huge carbonation that exploded out of the bottle. This is the 9% , 750 ml version. hazy golden/light amber colour. Belgian yeast esters, lees and a hint of lemon pie. Wellcarbonated brew with a lees texture and a carbonated and bitter finish. It is pretty refreshing but boring if not over carbonated.

Pours golden color with a small head. Aroma of grass, herbal notes, mild citrus fruits and pale malts. Flavor of fruits, mild hops, hay and spice notes. Unbalanced and definitely not worth the cost.
