COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(Bottled, rated 2011-04-17) Murky yellow with a medium, white head. Very citrusy nose with grassy-aromatic hops - something between Witbier and a German Pils. Dryish flavor with witbier spiciness, light Belgian yeastiness, and some citrusy sourness. Almost medium body, slightly foamy CO2, pleasantly refreshing. A nice summer beer, but with a too high ABV and price tag.

500ml bottle tried as Imper Ale Chiara pours a hazy straw color with an abundant white head which leaves behind some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is grainy with some citrus and fruit. Taste is malty sweetness with some fruit and spice and a citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body and decent carbonation leave a nice feeling on the tongue. A somewhat pleasing and easy to drink witbier.

500 ml bottle. Finland.
Hazy yellow colour with average size white head. Fresh tart yeasty aroma with mild wheaty and citrusy fruity notes. Flavour is yeast, wheat, mild fruitiness, some mild sourness and tartness. Some dry paper like notes in aftertaste. Yeast makes this brew florish. Thinnish though.

750ml bottle. Hazy yellow pour with a short head that leaves little lace. Classic wit nose with citrus fruit and spice. A little too light on the palate with the same citrus and spice notes. Finishes slightly spicy.

Blanche senza infamia e senza lode, bevibile, un po’ sciacquetta e timida. C’è di peggio.
