Not worth the $10.99 per 500ml that I paid. Reddish brown color. Slightly sweet Amber ale. No Belgium anywhere!

75cl bottle shared. Pours dark reddish brown with a thick, creamy beige head. Some yeast floating. Very light smell of sweet and room malts. Very faint. Taste is also light with some caramel and a not very good bittersweet aftertaste.

I am not a fan of red ales, but this is perfectly balanced. Long-lasting in the mouth, with an intense aroma. Lovely sweet taste. Highly recommended

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Stovner ( on order), or was it wineshop in Rome ? Brown color, good foam. Aromas of malt, dried fruit, good yeast influence: medium aroma intensity. Medium/ full body & med/ high complexity. On the sweet side, but well balanced. Enjoyable

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated slightly hazy cola brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was malty semi-sweet musty and mild vinous. The mildly vinous mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow malty aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of semi-sweet mildly vinous mild hops candy and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

500ml bottle - shared by Marduk - thanks!
Winer aroma on pouring. In the glass, some apple too. Later, some alcoholic vapours portend a touch of booziness perhaps? Even later, the apple’s back accompanied by almond. Sweet palate, crispened by carbonation, but strangely thin. Retronasals are sweet, appley, a bit alcoholic too. Body slickish as it warms. Strong slightly belgian ale, reminds me of the darker sweeter (Estonian) Kwak. Rougher, and less sophisticated. Adequate, but not particularly good. A bit too alcoholic, the apple and estery sweetness doesn’t cover the alcohol, if anything it draws attention to it.
