Bottle at Dan’s, pour courtesy of Aaron. Thanks! Poured a a deep hazy amber with a fluffy one-finger head. There are also some minor floaters lurking around in there. Aroma is bready, yeasty, dough, biscuit, and a hint of caramel. Taste is very bready, doughy, biscuit, some yeast, but smooth and easy drinking. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is soft. Very average and kind of all over the place, not horrible. Meh.

Bottle @ Dan’s house. Hazy, reddish, a touch violet appearance with a small, light brown head. A bit fruity, somewhat citrusy, a touch spicy, bready aroma. Spicy, a touch of cardboard, bready, light berry, somewhat fruity flavor. A bit gone but decent enough.

A very good superbly aromatic brew with a nice vineous flavor and a soft fruity palate. My only problem with this beer is that the complexity seems slightly lacking at the finish. All starts exceptionally well with a brilliant breath of raspberry wiffs tickling my olfactory senses followed by a hallowed sensation of the fruity bliss touching my tastebuds.A quick swivel produced a nice pillowy pink head with good lacing. But the finale tunrs a little sour with a non-descript finish resembling a sour carbonated cherry soda. If only.....

Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. A dark amber beer topped by a dense, creamy, light beige head. Almost clear. The aroma has a milky hint, with caramel and maltyness. Sweet and fruity flavor with caramel notes and some chocolate. A little bitterness shows up towards the end, but I don’t think it’s sufficient. Medium body, with decent carbonation. I’m not very impressed with the Collesi beers, this being no exception, but they’re drinkable and certainly not all bad. 110528

500ml bottle pours amber in color with a big white head that leaves some very thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel and fruit. Taste is light caramel sweetness with some fruit and an earthy hop bitterness. Medium body and generous carbonation leave a nice tingle on the palate. This is a really pleasing strong ale that was a treasure to have experienced.

750ml bottle. Deep amber pour with huge tan head that recedes quickly. Brown sugar, fig and raisin on the nose. Sweet on the palate with brown sugar and molasses plus hints of dried fruit. Medium-full bodied.

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a brownish color with a white head. The aroma has some toffee and candy sugar notes, as well as a fruity flavor that reminds me of grapes and cherries. The flavor follows suit. I get a lot of cherries and grapes, which are accompanied by the toffee and caramel malt notes. The alcohol is very well hidden. There is also a little malty sweetness in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
