A hazy dark ale with a thin receeding moka head. In aroma, light chocolate and a bit of lactic acid, sign of infection. In mouth, very light bodied, with light herbal touches followed by some light bitter chocolate. Not bad, but very thin.

probstblueribbon (1967) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 29, 2009
330 cm2 bottle via Lubiere (merci!), served cool in a tulip glass. 2007 03, Lote 02.

App.: Murky brown-orange with a decent light tan froth. Aroma: Spicy organic acid tang, hints of vanilla and some tired malts, a bit ashen and mineral. Palate: Medium-thin with fair effervescence. Flav.: Like the nose, there are slightly spicy organic acids, the malts are even weaker in the mouth; very thin finish with some light sour cherries and minerals.

This one is past its prime, but again, glad to have tried a Columbian beer.
