Clear caramel colour. Off-white head. Highly bready, lightly caramelly, gently grassy and hay-like, but also with lots of soured herbs flavours that I don’t dig at all. Soft and light carbonation. Poor in this shape, they aimed at sweetness and got acidity.

Bottled. A nut brown coloured beer with an off-white wisp of head. A sweet aroma with fruit and caramel. Thin in the mouth. Malty and fruity. Like a weak autumnal ale.

ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Clear amber beer. Small off white head. Light dry palate. Ok minerally malt - a bit lagerish. Not much hop here. Boring!

Big mashy aroma. Decent brown, nice head. Sweet and malty body. Has a full palate. Simple, and playing on the scottish 80/- stereotype, but despite being simple it’s not boring. Standing out above the previous 2 boring (M&S branded) bitters by looking better, being more succulent in the mouth, and having plenty of tangy malts in the finish.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110730]

Bottled@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some mild herbal and syrupy notes. Flavour is wood, mild syrup, wood and some slight herbal notes.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours clear gold. Caramel and light toffee on the nose. Flavor has some tang and sugar to it. Bland. Light bodied and mostly flat.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours dark amber, with a thin foamy beige head and low carbonation. The nose is nut, caramel and sweet malt. The taste is caramel, toffee, light sour tang, cardboard, light smoke, chocolate and brown sugar with not much in the finish. Not bad.

Bottle from Peckhams. Dark, medium brown colour, good head. Fruity fag ash aroma. Flavour as aroma with hint of caramel. Bitter aftertaste. Very average bitter.

Bottle from Peckhams. Medium brown with no head but plenty of carbonation. Dense, bready, sweet malts with toffee and red fruits, some earthiness and a touch of peat smoke in the finish. Ok.
