2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Beer appears russet to crimson with an inch of tan head. Scents include brown bread, prominent yeast, apples, molasses, dark fruits. Aggressive alcohol. Harsh, sweet and instantly cloying. Yeast character is overabundant and bites the palate. The imperial stout from this brewery was much better. No way I can finish this. Not again.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Odd looking 600 ml bottle, had a date code with letters and numbers that made no sense. Dark brown in color with thick off white head that laced well. I got to admit, I donít know what Brazil nuts taste like but this flavor is nice. Decent creamy texture on the tongue. Nuts, slight raisin notes, syrupy English toffee and hints of chocolate. I didnít believe it was 8 percent. Simple but tasty.

Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark amber to light brown.
Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, malt syrup, grain), with notes of potato, alcohol, metal, and brown sugar.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Another primitive, sugary brew from Cerv. Colorado.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I donít know Brazil nuts very well so I didnít know what to look for exactly. Floral with wheat aromas. Brown color. Slightly nutty, without show any alcohol. No major flaws. (bottle, 2013 Ale Jail festival, St. Paul, MN)

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy medium amber with a modest head that slowly drops to the rim, tiny dots of lace. Taste is lightly carbonated sweet malt; through the palate, it adds earthy molasses and very clear Brazil nuts, coasting from there to a lightly bittered finish. Good, but the nuts flavor gets old before the 22 oz bottle is empty.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Well this is my last beer to rate in a continent that I havenít rated yet. I donít know if this is a milestone that I should be proud of but Iím happy to write that. Pours a deep amber/brown color. Slightly hazy. Aroma is of sweeter malts, some molasses, slight nuttiness, and hops. Medium palate. Flavors include malts, molasses, brown sugar, an almost barleywine style aroma. Leaves a bitter grassy, prune, and malt finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange-amber in color with an off white head and large bubbles of carbonation... Iím not so sure about this being a brown ale, but this could be mistaken for an amber. It has a sweet, nutty aroma with caramel in the nose. The flavor is sweet and caramelly with a breadiness and almost pilsener-like graininess. Or is it the yeast? Itís light bodied, sessionable, and great for the heat. Itís smooth, nutty, and sweet, with a touch of bitterness in the finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours brown and cloudy with a pillowy milk chocolate head. Smells like wood and mildew, caramel malt. Palate is watery. Minimal carbonation. Upfront is sweet, sweet, sweet. Bananas and spice. Roasted nuttiness, caramel, a little marshmallow. Hint of coffee. Would be better if it wasnít so freakin sweet.

Good, but a bit too sweet.
