2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
32 oz canned crowler. labeled as Irish red. Pours a nice looking amber brown color with a big beige head that has fair retention. The aroma features caramel and, well, just caramel. The taste was watered down caramel and minerals. The palate was thin and disappointing. Finished short and forgettable. overall: meh, second beer from this brewpub that has really let me down. not likely to try any more.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft @ beaumont hotel in Ouray. Pitched as ’amber ale’. Nose is pretty thin, a little malt, a little toffee. Flavor is pretty watery, and a muddled mix of the malt and very little else. Finish is a dead ringer for the Biscotti cookies on United Airlines (not necessarily a bad thing, but pretty sweet and bready). Run of the mill.
