3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 islay (637) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 31, 2012
600 mL bottle that my girlfriend picked up for me on a December 2011 trip to Rio de Janeiro. It is the second of four different Colorado beers that she bought me that I have tried. Labeled as “Colorado Cauim Cerveja Clara Pilsner.” Juicy, creamy aroma features vanilla, butter, white grape juice, tonic water, and peach frosting scents. Appetizing smell with a touch of tart dryness. Pours a clear, pale to medium gold. Impressive effervescence; many small, fast-rising bubbles. Champagne-like appearance. Moderate amount of white head. Good lacing. Nice, appealing look. Weak, mineral-y flavor features lemon and watermelon elements in addition to a little bit of the sweet creaminess that is present in the aroma (although that factor is decidedly lesser in the flavor than the aroma). Cauim is on the sweet side for a pilsner, perhaps more reminiscent of a dortmunder. Dull, dry aftertaste. Light to medium body. Crisp in the palate. Easy to drink yet filling for the style. Colorado Cauim is a mediocre craft beer, but it’s better than the other scores imply and respectable especially for the style. It shows promise for the fledgling Brazilian craft brew industry.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 culchiem (1017) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 14, 2012
Bottle from MBM. Deep gold with a short lived white head. Aroma of light metallic malt. Flavour is sweet malt with that cloudy dry finish.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sevenlee (537) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2011
Pours a clear yellow with a frothy white head which has nice lacing. Aroma is floral and malty with hints of citrus. Taste is sweet malty followed by a light bitterness. Not a bad pils but not overly memorable.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 altacyr (144) - Campinas, BRAZIL - DEC 6, 2008
Cerveja adocicada, com mandioca... Uma experiência horrorosa, que acabou sendo nauseante. Não recomendo.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 digz (10) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - SEP 17, 2008

Bottle: Drank at La Tortula. That strange brasilian side taste came back, what is that? Decent.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bgiamatei (317) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - JAN 12, 2008
Boa pilsen.
Vale a pena conferir.
