COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grasshop-ah is an ode to the botanical neighbors and flavors of our favorite grasses and flowers. We’ve married our cider with hops (flowers) and Lemon Grass (uh,.. grass) Apples grow in areas that are also conducive to hop cultivation and Lemon Grass seems to grow anywhere. While this may be heretical to Cider purists we know plenty of folks who love the aroma of hops and think the background of cider makes perfect sense. The lemongrass thing is a nice fusion of citrus that seems to work. At least we think so. We hop you like it too.

Tap at Hops and Pie. Light golden. Earthy and sweet nose. Earthy and citrus bitterness that melds into sweet apple. Very nice and quite different than other mediocre, overly sweet, ciders.

Pour on tap at Scrumpy’s, clear yellow pour with no head, aroma brought some grass, lemon, lemongrass into some slight hoppy notes, some apple, vanilla, hints of spice as well. Taste is a mix of earth, lemon, lemongrass into some apple, vanilla, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry.

Tap @ Colorado Craft Beer Kickoff Week at Falling Rock. Pours a clear, light yellow appearance with a small white head. Herbal, light honey, freshly squeezed lemonade aroma. Mildly tart apple, lightly spicy, pineapple, vanilla, slightly woody, apple crisp flavor. Very easy to drink but not very exciting.

This is cool shit! Light yellow pour. Man the crisp apples, tartness, hop flavors without much bitterness. The grassy notes, lemon zest, lemongrass is evident. Cool stuff.

Sampled at the 2013 Chicago Cider Summit. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that starts and stays on the edges with visible carbonation. Aroma has a musty, funky apple note that reminds me of a harvest. Flavor combines the musty/funk note with sweet apple and a hint of grass coming through.
