This beer is made with imported malts of the highest quality and the best coffee in the region of Upper Mogiana. This coffee is purchased directly from the producer, roasted and ground according to our specifications and macerated in cold water only to then be added to the mash brewer. Using this method we prevent the coffee aromas lose its best owing to the high temperatures present in the brewing process.
The Demoiselle name is a homage to the great Brazilian Alberto Santos Dumont, whose family owned coffee plantations in the region of Ribeirão Preto.
Thanks to the American brewer historian Randy Mosher for precious insight into the use of coffee in brewing.

Boa cerveja no estilo dela. Não é o estilo que mais me agrada, mas é boazinha, tem gosto de café torrado evidente. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black color and minimal head. Red fruits and coffee malt aroma. Taste - Sour and a bit bitter. On the palate, it has a creamy texture and long finish. A quality Porter from Brazil.

I never noticed the label mentioning coffee. I was just disappointed to smell and taste that acrid streak of ripening coffee berries (yes, they are berries, not beans) in what would have been a perfectly reasonable porter. My mistake. But if you are quite happy to taste cold coffee in your beer...

Black with a small beige head. Aroma is earthy, herbal, chocolate, caramel, toffee and coffee. Same in taste with a focus on the earthy and herbal bitterness and taste of coffee and roasted malt, with some smoked flavour. Light bitter aftertaste. Delicious!

A gorgeous very dark brown color, opaque and almost black as a moonless night. A beige, dense and moderately persistent cream color with medium to high formation of an excellent lacing. The aroma is intense coffee, roasted malts and smoked and caramel, vanilla that is worth appreciated length. The taste is strong espresso, roasted malt and dark chocolate touches. A more significant cookie like what should imply gives an initial sweetness that unfolds into a proportional bitterness to lightly smoked touch and closing a delicious bitterness characteristic style. It shows a balanced drink Corps and low average carbonation, but does not compromise the set. A classic dryness is present at each end of sip. The aftertaste shows up bitter, crisp and very pleasant. A beautiful set and great drinkability!
