A classically styled blonde ale, 7258 is a refreshing and balanced blend of Czech Saaz Hops and select malts. 7258 denotes both the altitude of the nearby United States Air Force Academy, as well as the attitude of Colorado and its residents.. “Far, far above that of West Point or Annapolis”...and the rest of the world. Tap. Pours hazy gold with a medium, frothy and fizzy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is medium malt (straw, meal, cereal), light earthy and herbal hops, and light fruity esters. Flavor is malt dominant with lightly bitter earthy hops and fruity esters. Medium body and carbonation, low warmth, and a dry finish.

On tap at Colorado Mountain. First off this is a blonde not an American Pale like AAron says. Poured a cloudy yellow with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of bread, diacytal and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth withj a dry finish. Flavors of bread, diacytal and light citrus with a smooth dry lingering diacytal finish.

Tasted on tap at Colorado Mountain Brewery. Fairly translucent, light yellow appearance. Just a slight bit golden malts in the aroma. This is actually a blonde/golden ale. Light golden malty body and not lacking in body like some goldens.
