COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Aroma of rum raisin and caramelised demerera sugar, develops into macerated plum liqueur in taste, more rum raisin, cane sugar. Near British like a vintage port with a finishing nut shell, rather than wood barrel astringency.

20oz weird ass Brazilian style bottle from Xroads. Poured a good looking solid velvety oily black body under a smaller tight creamy light beige head. Aroma is sweet, dark fruits, dark cane sugars, unpicked coffee beans, cola, rum cake and some wet dark toast. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Body is smooth from very light carbonation, medium to almost fuller bodied, lingering flavor. Great beer but very sweet so be prepared, like a great nitro stout with half a pack of sugar added.

Really dark brown with kind of a fizzy, bubbly, light brown head. Aroma of roasted grain, ash, and grass with maybe a hint of sweet candy in there. Taste is roast, molasses, booze; actually it tastes a lot like cola; much richer than I expected. Full bodied and a little fizzy (odd) and boozy. Strange brew.
