Labelled as Guanabara
Tasted on 10/10/14 from a capped 600mL bottle purchased at Woodland Wine Merchant. Pours opaque dark brown with an average, smooth tan head that slowly recedes to average, uneven lace. The nose is dominated by brown sugar, molasses, and vanilla, with some more robust roast and dark chocolate underlying. The flavor is the same lightly sweet vanilla and brown sugar up front, moving to nice dark chocolate and molasses bitterness. The body is full and creamy with just under average, but still lightly stinging, carbonation, and a long bittersweet molasses, dark chocolate, and vanilla finish. Very nice.
