Pours orange gold with quick fading head. Flavor is earthy with some fruit in the background. Smooth and muted bitterness on this one with a strong sweetness in the finish.

1 pint, 4 oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours a clear orange colour with big, dense white head. Aroma is earthy and sweet with caramel, fruit, some candy sugar and pine resin. Flavour is also on the sweeter side with definite sugar presence, caramel, some vague fruity character and a relatively subtle earthy/piney bitterness. Slick mouthfeel. Pretty good.

From notes. 20 oz bottle shared at a tasting on 5 May. The pour is a golden orange with a good amount of sticky clingy white lace that has some great retention on top of a thin white head. There is also a lot of noticeable sediment with this one. The aroma is more malty than hoppy and citrusy. They are present, but the malts just dominate. The flavor is is quite similar. There is a good maltiness, albeit light, and the remainder of it just doesn’t do a whole lot for an IPA. The mouth feel is thin, and the carbonation is lacking and minimal. The aftertaste is surprisingly light, and isn’t very great here.

Surprisingly good brew! Never saw it coming. A Brazilian Imperial IPA with real sugar cane. Pine coney aroma. Dense, foamy head. Earthy hops. Full bodied. No cloying aftertaste. Extremely refreshing. The booze seems balanced and evenly distributed. It is a little bitter than how I like my IPA’s as I tend to like them cleaner but this one is nonetheless pretty good. Colorado never puts out garbage. They just have lots of breweries and dispensaries at this point.

Really interesting offering from this Brazilian brewery. Not what I expected and not typical to style but worth another try.

310ml bottle. Pours a medium amber, with an off-white head. Hoppy, fruity, alightly oxidized aroma, spruce, caramel, orange peel, cheese rinds. Semi-sweet, full bodied, mid to high bitterness, creamy CO2. Hoppy, resiny taste, citrus, grapefruit, caramel, hints of oxidation and cheese. Harsh finish. (2014-04-12)

Pours a crystal clear ruby orange with an everlasting head. Not much going on here. Mild hops, alcohol barely hidden, pretty disappointed overall given the ratings. Far from a drain pour, but not a repeat purchase for sure. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Solid if not a very mild DIPA mellow on the nose, much milder than expected hoppiness on the tongue and a really nice palate. Compared to other Brazilian beers this is world class.
