COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

My first drink, around 9:10pm on a Saturday Night. the pour was sexy. Enough head so that the last half oz or so wouldnt fit in my glass. My first sip was to finish the bottle, when it hit my tongue it was a bit shocking. It had a really awesome flavor profile that changed dramatically from the first to the second sip. It has some heat, it being 9% abv probably has something to do with it. But the overall hoppiness was very much on target for an Imperial. Plenty of nose, but not crazy overpowering. I am pretty impressed, you could have told me it was a West Coast IPA and believed you. Good job Brazil!

Bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a slightly hazy deep orange amber color with a small white head. The aroma had big sweet malts, citrus, fruity, some earthy notes, a slight cheesy note, but otherwise not bad. The flavor had sweet malts, caramel, ripe fruits, grapefruit, grass, some earthy notes. Fairly tasty.

Amber, cream head. Nose is fresh hops, sugar, sweet, lightly sticky, and bitter. Chewy palate, bitter, sweet, fruity, easy finish.

Final seco e amargo, álcool bem inserido. Excelente breja! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Moderate to heavy complex bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This is a solid beer.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2014 Poured from a 600ml bottle into a pint glass copper colored with a huge creamy head. Immediate scent of sweet malty hops tells me this is a DIPA. Sweetness upfront (cane sugar) and smoothly bitter. Was pleasantly surprised. Would prefer more bitterness in the finish but not complaining. Overall an above average Imperial IPA would easily purchase another bottle which I did a year later remembering I liked this brew. Now if only I could read Portuguese....

Pours deep gold into a tulip. Off-white pancake head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet tropical fruit and resin aromas. Bready caramel and mango upfront turning to hot resin in the lasting finish.

600ml bottle, shared with Tmoney99 and alexsdad06. Code on bottle says "185 MDABC". Hazy darker amber orange color. Thin off-white head, leaves pretty good lace. Nice big spicy hop and citrusy aroma, with a good biscuity bready malt. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, lighter sweet taste, light hoppy alcohol heat. Bigger body, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry in the finish, with a good, piney, rindy citrusy finish. Interesting unique lightly spicy overall sweetness in this that I have to guess comes from the use of "Rapadura" cane sugar, it’s pretty nice. Enjoyable DIPA - If I was in Brazil, and searching for something hoppy, this would satisfy my fix.

Had high hopes for this & wasn’t disappointed by the aroma which was malty , hoppy, & rich. The flavor was very metallic up front. Behind was like nose but the domination of metallic really got in the way. Metallic also influenced the mouth by enhancing the sharpness. Color is a clear orange amber with some bubble trails. Finish has metallic slowly diminishing and is decent.

Aromas of fruity hops and caramel. Pours a hazy orange with a thick off white head. Lots of lacing. Tastes of juicy hops, sweetness from the rapadura cane sugar, with a lingering bitter grapefruit finish.
