Pour’s crystal clear see through golden orange with the aroma of sweet piney bubble gum and cotton candy.Taste is a nice sweet with a great blend of bitter and citrus that leaves the palate wishing for more. Overall this is a great double ipa, that has a wonderful balance between sweetness and hops that hides the 9.5% abv very well.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

In short: A well malted boozy IIPA with a nice fruity/resinous hopping. Good
How: From a bottle at Mondial De La Bière 2012
The look: Almost clear dark golden body topped by a small beige head
In long: Nose is fruity resinous hops. Taste has a solid malt backbone, nice crisp toasted caramelized malts, plenty of fruity hops (mostly citusy), some green pine needles. The hop profile is somewhat resinous. Full body with nice carbonation. If it wasn’t for the sharp alcohol bite in the finish I would consider it a very nice Double IPA. Still a pretty decent ‘American-worthy’ example of the style. My third beer at the first day of Mondial 2012 and that was before lunch, but I’m not ashamed, the way I see it, alcoholism is for people who can afford to lose a few brain cells.

600 ml bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, lemon zest, earthiness and orange zest. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit, orange zest and tropical fruit with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Bottled.Clear Amber color with a very nice foam that keeps a very nice lacing til the end. Aroma is nice sweet fruity hoppy aroma, hints of floral as well. Medium body with notes of alcohol, one of the best IPA ever... Mouth feel is long dry bitterness..

A golden amber IPA with a thin mocha head. In aroma, superb pungent hops with vinous qualities, smooth and piney. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with sweet orange pulp, warming alcohol, and nice floral hops. Bottle at Mondiale 2012, June 7 2012.
