Morgan’s tasting, 07MAR09. Plastic screw top 40, as it should be. Clear gold with a fizzy white head. Nose is boozy grain and malt. Crappy sweet corny and boozy, but somehow not nearly as bad as I imagined.

I disliked this beer more than any beer I’ve ever had. The aroma was not pleasing in the slightest sense. The taste was very watery and tastes like water mixed with artificial sweetener. I couldn’t even finish more than a few sips before I had to throw it down the sink.

Tall can at OTT. I can’t ever remember seeing this in stores around here and my curiosity got the best of me. Super pale, lasting head (poured it into a plastic 32oz cup to allow generous headspace and room to get my nose in and savor the glorious aroma). Chemical fusel aroma. The flavor is just plain dirty, with lots of adjuncts, sugar, and higher alcohols. Hard to finish.

24 ounce can. Pours a golden yellow with a large white head that slowly fades. Taste is of malt and corn. Similar aroma. Not a bad brew considering the price.

Only redeeming quality is you can get a good load on. The bad side is the hangover you’ll have. Even if you only have one sip, you still get the hangover. It’s a prerequisite.

If you’re looking for a quick, inexpensive drunken binge, the Colt will do the trick. It actually goes down quite well.

Went from can to bong. Very pale yellow. Aroma is sweet malts and corn. Don’t really remember went quick. It’s definitely a bong beer, not a sipping beer.

Pours yellow/gold, with a white head. Aroma is corn and grain. Flavor is corn and sugar. Medium body. It is what it is.
