Only good thing about this beer is that it had Billy Dee Williams as its spokesperson for a while. Tastes like SHIT!

In tonite’s malt liquor taste-off, this beer came in last to Hurricane and OE800. Smells and tastes like alcohol, and goes down a touch harsh. Not good.

Can. Brewed by Asia Brewery 6.5% version (Philippines). Grainy, earthy aroma, stale malts with dry refined alcohol. Light bodied with harsh texture and off aftertaste that could be described as smoky. Note that this was not intended by the brewers. Awful infection..

Not very good, but you have to respect it because it’s a forty and it’s cheap. Doesn’t taste like most beer.

clear pale yellow colour, few head, malt, orange and alcohol aroma, sweet and oily with a dry alcohol finish - by far not the worst malt liquor

Ahh! Colt 45. Now there's a fine brew worthy of a brown paper bag. Though not my favorite Malt beverage I do respect the 'Forty' that for the most part, started it all. My biggest gripe with this brand is it's low alchol content, I mean come on, 40s are supposed to 'Taste like crap, and knock you out flat'(say, that was pretty smooth), thats the point, so what is the reward for your toils and pain for holding this one down? A Whuppass Buzz? I don't think so. And by the way, what ever happend to the 45oz bottles? Gripes aside however, due to tradition, I do recomend this Malt as a starter before moving up to the 8% and above club. Yep, if you want to start drinking 40s, start with this brand, drink one down, than throw the empty, brown bag wraped, bottle into an alley or gutter, soon you'll understand what its all about, Yup "Every Time"! Baby.

I love to enjoy a nice, refreshing 40 oz. Colt 45 before I report for my duties as a school bus driver in the morning. It helps take the edge off.
