COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For over 4 decades, Colt 45 Premium Malt Liquor has been the "class of all malt liquor brands". With its smooth and distinct flavor and historic affiliation with Billy Dee Williams, it has become an urban American icon. If you’re looking for a thick 40, or an ice cold shorty, Colt 45 is the malt liquor that works EVERYTIME!

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This brew poured a small head of white medium sized bubbles that quickly disappeared leaving a carbonated weak light yellow body. It has that typical low quality rice beer aroma and a fizzy flavor. There is no real character to this gassy beverage.

24 oz. can. Oh yuck! Another American mass-produced beer. Poured a small white head with small-medium bubbles that quickly dissolved. There was no lacing observed. There was carbonation observed rising to the top. It had a fruity aroma. I am glad this rating is history!

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cereal), trace hops (herbs), with a light note of DMS, hint of apple. Flavor is moderately sweet. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.

We use this swill at work as our right of passage, it's so bad. Golden and fizzy, the alcohol bite readily noticeable. Starchy to a fault.

It needs to taste a lot better than this to have such a week percentage of alcohol. It is quite brutal but really cheap.

Like all other malt 40s, this isn't intended to taste good. Deep color, thick head, nose of stale mold, and the flavor is beyond words.

I can't believe this stuff actually sells. Foul tasting. If you can make it through more than one sip of this you know you're in trouble.

best served in a 40 concealed within a brown paper bag. warning: do not attempt to wear paper bag on head.
